Regional representatives
The regional representative (RR) coordinates the activities of ANSOLE in the African region under his or her
jurisdiction in permanent consultation with the national representatives. He or she can be assisted by a vice regional
representative (VRR) He or she is expected to fulfill the duties of national representatives in countries where no NR
is present. RRs who are not the same time NPs are supposed to submit quarterly reports. The appointed ANSOLE
representatives of the 5 African regions are the following:
The activities of ANSOLE in the various African countries are coordinated by national representatives (NR)
assisted by vice-national representative (VNR), who are appointed by the coordinator. The duties of the national and
vice-national representatives are the following:
Coordinate the activities of ANSOLE in the country.
Make ANSOLE known in the country
Appoint focal points (persons) of ANSOLE in various higher education institution of the country
Organize national ANSOLE meetings
Gather information about « who is who » in both solar energy research and solar energy business in the country for ANSOLE database.
Submit quarterly report about the activities of ANSOLE in the country. This report will be published on ANSOLE website: ansole.org.
